The Journey to Hire a Ghostwriter for Your Book

Our CEO’s biggest mission has always been to empower others to live their best life. From writing blog posts to writing books to ghostwriting for bloggers and companies, Brandy has always found a love in the art of writing words.

As a young child, she was often told to go write a book! This would happen quite frequently when Brandy was upset with someone. To this day, she is in her 40s and can still be found writing a letter to a beloved friend or family member sharing her woes, excitement, or other feelings intimately.

The spoken word doesn’t flow well for our CEO, this is why she uses her mission to empower moms to write their stories. Every single one of us has a story worth sharing, but maybe you don’t feel you’re ready to write the story. Maybe you don’t feel like you’re the right person for the job.

Although, one could argue you are the perfect person for the job, hiring a ghostwriter can take the pressure off your mind of having to write the book just so or share the blog post just right.

You can talk privately with a ghostwriter, and have them record the conversation so that they can develop the best story possible in book or blog format for you.

Once you’ve completed the process, which can take anywhere from 3 months to a year, you’re able to review the process of this written manuscript to see if it’s coming along the way you’d envisioned. Of course, our team allows you to review the writing process at various intervals since the team works on a retainer with you, you’ll need to have various milestone check-ins along the path to make sure the work is being done to your expectations.

The fabulous part of hiring Brandy Ellen Digital LLC to ghostwrite for you is that more often than not the CEO (Brandy) is the one developing your book content. She has years of experience in creative writing, SEO writing, and book writing to bring to your project. Brandy excels in matching the voice of a Mom, as she has three kids.

As of the date of writing this, our CEO has a 21-year-old, a 17-year-old, and a 15-year-old. Brandy has homeschooled children, has experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder, had children in public school, and grew up in a small NH town with a close-knit community vibe.

If you’re searching for a Mom who has an open mind and can develop the right voice to share your story as a ghostwriter? Brandy is a fabulous option for you.

How does hiring a ghostwriter for book work?

The process of hiring a ghostwriter for your next book will run about the same each time:

  • We chat over the phone, zoom, or email to gather details on what you’re expectations or needs are.
  • After the call, a scope of work and quote are sent to you via email.
  • This quote is reviewed, and we can schedule a second call if you have any questions about the process or the contract sent over.
  • We have a retainer basis contract, that is payable over various payment terms as work is completed.
  • Once you have paid the initial retainer, and everyone involved has signed the contract, you will start sharing details in voice memos, videos, emails, or Google Docs (we will agree on the various methods to ensure everyone knows how to send the notes and info).
  • Often, we will meet to chat with a recorded call to gain more details on your emotions and story so that we can match your vision and voice better.
  • All work is confidential, and we are considered to be under a nondisclosure agreement. Our team is trained to understand that our client’s stories are theirs, no matter who ghostwrites for them.

A ghostwriter is someone who will write your story without receiving any credit unless you feel like giving them credit at any time. We will never disclose our clients without permission.
